I was born and raised in Ohio. After high school I received a scholarship from the Cleveland Institute of Art; this is where I first had the opportunity to blow glass. I had no plans of pursuing it at the time, but found myself addicted to this medium. I graduated in 1999 among the top twenty of my class. I am now currently creating my work at a not-for-profit hot glass shop in Columbus called Glass Axis. I really enjoy working in this community of artists.

I also enjoy fabricating steel, wood, and non-ferris metals. My other hobbies include skiing and working on cars. As for the future, I plan on doing what I love, making a living off of blowing glass.
